| www.foobar2000.org In my opinion the best music player ever. It plays all formats and has a really good configurable libary, which can show your files per your folder structure or by tags. It can be used to tag, convert and replaygain files. It displays album art, and has a spectrogram, vu meter, oscilloscope.... With additional components you can even make it more powerful. The Lyrics component downloads timespamped lyric files and displays them, while the song ist playing. You can even make your own lyrics file.

| An useful and powerful app to administer your compressed (mostly snd definitively best mp3) music files: http://www.mp3tag.de/en/
The app makes it possible to sort and manage the files in so many ways that I lost the count.
It`s free. Support is welcomed, but not required.

| Obviously not all of us can play all the instruments we might like to use, so if anyone needs a session musician, I highly recommend my Swedish buddy, Bjorn Macateer Dahlberg, who is a session player in London. He can add Sax, Clarinet and Piano, recorded as a wav or midi or both. Here him on my track Romany Days and Sax on Himalayan Suite - Mountainscape. he`s here: bjorn.e.dahlberg@gmail.com

| Forgot to say £50 per track / song with a few alterations within reason. You will get several takes to choose from and discuss which is best etc. | |

| https://www.chumder.com/ this is a useful tool to personalise your twitter interactions. You put in the keywords relevant to your genre, interests etc and you only get results whch concern your keywords. You can then see in terms of percentage how likely they are to follow you back or not, so you can choose whether to follow them or not. It`s very good, based in Stockholm, and there`s a free version. The paid version is only $3.99 per month for any amount of followers, and the free is 50 followers per day limit.

| Broadjam.com is a really decent site with a great community aspect. They also have contests and licensing opportunities. If Soundcloud shuts down I probably will spend my time there.

| ** WARNING **
DO NOT USE NumberOneMusic.com (also known as "N1M"). It is a scam (and a very clever one at that).
Just Google "n1m scam".
For example: http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/number-one-music-n1m/internet/number-one-music-n1m-completely-fake-preys-upon-wannabe-artists-you-get-0-for-you-1278062
Even if you just use the free parts of it I would urge you not to as it just helps keep them going.

| YouTube is the largest music streaming service in the world (see https://www.digitalmusicnews.com/2016/12/15/youtube-biggest-music-service/).
SoundCloud are in a lot of trouble financially and there are rumours of them going under within the next few months if they can`t get investment.
So it makes sense to get your music on YouTube now but it can be time consuming creating a video, even if you are just using a static image.
Well thanks to a bit of searching by our good friend GrandSpaceAdventure there is a simple solution: https://hypeddit.com/soundcloud-to-youtube
So now you have no excuse! Get all your SoundCloud music converted and uploaded to YouTube then add them on here - GO!

| https://www.streambeet.com/#faqs-section Raven put this up on the chat forum, and I think it`s good to get a few thousand plays on your Spotify tracks. They do it with real people so it`s not an illegal method, so I think it`s okay.
