|Genre choices need to be better!!

Hi Avery. As Scott say, please bear with it. This is a new site and is just developed by me on my own.
s the site grows I will be introducing new genres but there simply aren`t enough tracks in play yet.
I`ve found music in genres I didn`t even know I liked on here and have become fans of many people I would not have discovered elsewhere.
Give it another go and see how you get on. I think you`ll be pleasantly surprised.

I`m sorry to hear that you feel that way Avery.
While I agree with you to a point about genre selection, I think that this is an excellent forum.
It has introduced me to some really talented artists - some of whom make music in the genres I am working in and others who are doing stuff that I wouldn`t normally listen to.
If anything, being part of this community has reignited my faith in music and creativity. There is some fantastic talent around but it rarely gets heard. It does here.
Stick with it. I`ve had a listen to a couple of your tracks on Soundcloud and they`re great. Support others and they will support you. That`s what this place is all about.
Keep up the good work.

I`m a folk artist and this service is pretty much useless for me to gain fans or discover new music within my genre because it doesn`t include my genre in the choices! Can`t imagine I`ll be using this that much. The idea is pretty good; however it seems like it serves those desperate to gain meaningless numbers more-so than those of us who want to actually gain true fans. You know the type, the people who randomly follow you on social media just so you`ll follow them back even though their music has nothing to do with yours and they don`t even listen to you anyway.

For all of you that need more Spotify-plays
1. Follow the playlist
2. Add four songs yourself
3. Put the playlist on repeat (or play it when you can). You can even mute it and let it play when you`re doing something else.
4. It`s also a good idea to put it on random play so the songs that`s added later on gets played as much as the first songs.
5. Share it or tag other people/bands that might be interested in trying this out.
6. And as a bonus follow all the other bands/artists that appear on the playlist.
