I would like a Referral program in place.

Credits for sign ups.

Im willing to market ACR now.

I`ve signed up over 100 artist to $Music.

Im ready to sign them up here.

Can ACR add Referral link to my account?

We used to give credits for sign ups but it has a negative effect on listens as people don`t have to listen as much if they are referring people here so plays decrease.

I appreciate that you want to market ACR but we are a passionate community that do it to help each other and we make no money from it so I am unable to offer you any kind of reward. Sorry.

I`m not sure I get this argument. Surely people just choose from the dropdown menu what platform they want to listen to. Personally, I prefer one that actually pays musicians, such as Musicoin. Soundcloud gives you zip!

Well some of us are not into it for the pennies but rather for the exposure and the feedback. You (or rather I) get more comments from other sites. That`s my take on it anyway.

Hey guys, I`ve found some of you on Musicoin already, but the search function is a little tedious. Add me and I`ll get your stuff into my music queue. Great way to support each other! :)

Musicoin is okay, seems promising, worth doing. Too bad everyone seems to have ignored Soundcloud and Spotify. Musicoin is another way to reach potential fans, but, (correct me if I`m wrong) from what I`ve read, that "money" our songs earn is like "virtual" money worth a little less than Monopoly money, so...

Trying musicoin, found some artists I know already. I`m open-minded to it but still not 100%

But yes there are fees. You still end up with orders of magnitude more per play than Spotify et al.

Lots of people have cashed out into Paypal. You have to jump through some hoops at the moment but once you know how it`s just a case of going through the steps.

And I would LOVE to be wrong. How much, if any, real money have you been paid? And I hope nobody pays any "fees" up front to get their money out. Best tell them to deduct it from what you`re owed and remit the balance to your paypal account.

Juxta, I`m going by what the ppl running it have said. When asked how to cash out, they said, right now, there is no way. Now, that was a couple of weeks ago. Maybe there is a way. Only way I can see is if someone invested in a pool of money. Where does the money come from? Seems its all going out, since uploads and plays are free.

Promising Indeed. Gonna need a proper website from Musicoin to be sure. That being said, I`m all in with Musicoin. I never have put my music on spotify, as they don`t respect the artists work, by handing out less than crumbs for our creativity. Just recently uploaded some promo materials to soundcloud. I basically use sc like youtube and release snippets that are tagged to beat hell.

Yeah I`ll correct you Trendlaser - you`re wrong :P

Seriously though you can cash it out any time you want.
There are some fees to pay but it`s still a lot more than you get anywhere else even after the fees.

Musicion is definetly worth doing i have never been a fan of soundcloud only because non musicains seem to struggle with listening to it i am definetly not negecting spotify but the fact musicion pays around 10 times the amount of spotify its getting popular

What`s good world!

I`ve joined this community at ACR because they are pushing Musicoin hard af right now, and that`s certainly the place for all independent artists to be. Industry leading $ is earned by streaming music. Still in beta (coming up on a 1.0) It`s fresh and worth looking into for all Musicians.

Quit your day job - Do music full-time.

I`d love to connect with you All through social media and also here @ https://musicoin.org/nav/artist/0x602ccfd8079ffdfcb6e885302d0525d70e8a145d

Need a little help and can`t find a "Contact Us" anywhere. I`ve copied a couple of my songs from Musicoin to here but it`s showing up as a "Runtime Error" and when I try to delete it, it won`t let me, it seems there`s an error on a error! Does anyone know how I can fix this please? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I really loved your site when it first started. Unfortunately, it`s essentially unusable now. Atom Collector Records struck me as a grassroots movement when I first signed up-which I think is great. So, I`m not sure why you would switch to an even smaller grassroots movement before really establishing yourself. It`s a shame, because I rarely visit the site anymore (since I can`t even listen to anything), and indie artists are not being heard or supported as a result.

I`m sorry to hear that but I`m not really sure what you mean by "unusable"?

I haven`t switched anything. I have just added more options and therefore given people more choice.

One thing that has been evident as I have met more and more independent musicians is that they feel as though they are not treated fairly by the big streaming services so when new offerings appear that attempt to address this I feel it only right that I add them.

I do not force anyone to listen to any particular source. Everyone is free to choose.

If you have any suggestions I am always willing to listen and then we can all discuss it as a community and I will make the changes that the majority would like to see.

I`ve used Bandlab in the past. You can do simple mastering there and choose various volume levels/mixes. Best of all, it is free (at least it was when I last used it!)

In logic you can use advanced limiter for that, it allows you to increase the volume while remaining the same mix. I`d suggest that you use not to many dB, then it`s better to make sure your overal volume is towards the level you like and then you can increase the gain with the limiter with a few dB.

Thank You. Normally I worked with a Pro Studio. Now I wanna go one by myself so for this song (You`re in My Heart Again) I used simply GB, but it`s hard to have high volumes. I also have Pro-tools-first but it`s quite difficult to operate. I would buy LogicPro but I don`t know if it`s worth to. You? What`s your DAW?

Lewis Sound Editor is only available from the Microsoft STORE. I think it`s in the "Utilities" section. Or look under "apps" and type "Sound editor" in search box. A couple of free ones should pop-up. Cannot advise you on those, haven`t used them. Good luck. Anything you get may require trial and error.

What recording software and which platform are you already using? It also depends on the mix you already have. If just a simple volume boost is needed, use your own DAW or free Audacity. Also various types of plug-ins could help, like a compressor or amp. I`m not sure about Windows, but Macs have built in plugins and there are lots of free ones out there. If you want to buy something better search "Mastering Software" on a site like Sweetwater

Hi Mauro, Dark Co. is right. If you have a good sounding master and want to make it hotter/louder, I recommend the Lewis Editor available from Microsoft Store. You can load your track, then click on "effects" and pick EQ/Amp from menu. Note EQ/Amp has a box top left to (check/uncheck) and a sliding scale for "Amp" - to + and check the difference as it plays. Best $6.99 I`ve spent. (Not affiliated with co.)

Mastering! Makes all the difference. In days gone by pressing plants used to make glass masters from which they would press the discs. Mastering makes things louder, can lose some dynamics if you`re not careful, and you can change the tone by adding or cutting bass or treble. Most producers use digital methods these days, and on the Wud Records main studio computer is some awesome mastering software called T-Racks. Check it out! Plenty of info to read online. Good mastering can make (or bad = ruin) a decent final mix. Worth taking the time to become good at it! It`s a bit of a road to travel. Best of luck!
